Wild God, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds' 18th studio album, features ten tracks on which the band effortlessly switches between tradition and experimentation. The album was produced by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis, and expertly mixed by David Fridmann. Cave began writing "Wild God" on New Year's Day 2023, and during sessions at Miraval in Provence and Soundtree in London, the Bad Seeds added their unique chemistry to the album. It features contributions from Colin Greenwood on bass and Luis Almau on classical and acoustic guitar.
