'Set This Thing On Fire' is Anouk's fifteenth studio album. After the orchestral 'Deena & Jim' from 2023, she is now hanging up the strings and picking up the electric guitar again. At first hearing you would say that 'Set This Thing On Fire' is vintage Anouk: with nice, solid rock songs, catchy melodies and the powerful voice of the Hague native, but because of the depth that her experiences brought inspiration for her latest work, this album has more depth.

Her new album is produced by Thomas Azier, with whom she previously collaborated on 'Deena & Jim'. For this new album, she wrote all the songs together with Azier and her regular writing partner Martin Gjerstad also co-wrote six of the ten songs. Anouk doesn't like to do the same thing twice, which makes this album sound new, fresh and unique, but 'Set This Thing On Fire' is the album that is closest to her previous rock albums.
