Here it is. After 16 years of radio silence, The Cure is back with a brand new album, 'Songs Of A Lost World'. Rumors about a new album from the band have been going around for a few years, especially after the band started playing new material live during their last tours. But now Robert Smith and his men think the time is right to release the new material on the world in the form of a completely new album.
Smith wrote all the songs on 'Songs Of A Lost World'. It is now the fourteenth studio album of the band that scored big hits in the 80s and 90s with songs like 'A Forest', 'Boys Don't Cry', 'Close To Me', 'Lullaby' and 'Friday I'm In Love'. Whether 'Songs Of A Lost World' contains just as many classics, time will tell, but the first single 'Alone' already promises a lot of good things.
