'Foreign Tongues', the Rolling Stones' twenty-fifth and newest album, features fourteen new songs and follows less than three years after the widely acclaimed, Grammy Award-winning 'Hackney Diamonds', which topped the charts worldwide and achieved multiple platinum statuses.

The album was recorded in less than a month at Metropolis Studios in West London and features musical outbursts from Jagger, Richards, and Wood. In addition to their regulars such as Darryl Jones, Matt Clifford, and Steve Jordan, the album features a special contribution from Charlie Watts, recorded during one of his final sessions before his passing in 2021. Furthermore, there are contributions from an impressive array of guest artists, including Steve Winwood, Paul McCartney, Robert Smith (The Cure), and Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers).
